Personal

Hi,
I’m Rozanne and I live in Modesto, CA where we have triple digit heat waves in the summer. I have 2 children (son in the Marines at Camp Pendleton, daughter in Montana) and 2 grandchildren, a 20 month grandddaughter and a newborn grandson.

I’ve been beading for about 4 years now. Started out making jewelry for myself and then making custom orders for others who saw my pieces I had made.
I seem to always buy new beads and stones then let them sit for awhile and let ideas percolate in my brain before I make something.

In my real life, I’m a Massage Therapist so don’t always have the time to sit down and make something. Most of my beading time is at 2 am when I can’t sleep so I make my sleeplessness productive.

Have been really enjoying my time here chatting with everyone and to everyone who added me as a friend and to those who accepted my requests, Thank you very much and look forward to chatting in the future.

Its gorgeous Little Chick. I would wear it. I am more of a chunky necklace person myself and I sell many like this. Its all in how a person perceives something. I can ask people if they like something and get different answers all the time. Go with what you [...]

Hi Rozanne, I’m in Folsom and have the same triple digit heat :( It’s nice to have beading when you’re closed up inside hiding from the heat :)

Good morning Rozanne! Wow your son is doing really well in the Marines and Staff Sgt soon? Very cool! Congratulations on being a new grandma, I think that is AWESOME! More love for you to hold and kiss and play with. Well, we sent our son on his way yesterday. He was really nervous but I know once he gets started he will do well. I am feeling a little better today just knowing everything is started. Now comes the looooong 13 weeks of worry! I would love to meet up with you to bead and chat about our ”boys”. I work M-F so my only opportunities are on the weekends. In fact gotta go get ready for work right now. Chat at ya tonight!

Hi Angela and Thanks for the welcome.
My son is in his 9th year. Went to Boot Camp July 2000. He’s now a Sgt, getting ready to pick up to Staff Sgt soon, stationed at Camp P. and is a Machine Gun instructor there teaching the Jr. commissioned officers. Also teaching some of the new boots when they graduate and then go to the School of Infantry (SOI) training.
He’s done 2 tours in Iraq. One of the first into Baghdad in 03. Machiner Gunner on a Humvee. Came home this past Sept. from his second tour doing ground landings out of the Helicoptors.
He and his wife just had a new baby boy born June 18th. You might have seen a couple of my Fresh Picks about that, called, Waiting for my new Grandson and Finally! a Baby Boy.

Since we live so close together, we should meet and spend time getting to know each other. I have several clients who come to see me from the Antioch-Brentwood area. We could always meet halfway somewhere too.
