I am a 50 something beader who has been addicted (to beading, silly) since 2007, when a friend taught me how to make simple elastic strung bracelets which we planned to sell as a fundraiser at dog rescue events.Well, that took on a life of its own and I now make nand sell one of a kind jewellery using allot of vintage materials, crystal , sterling and any interesting bits and pieces I can find, which is why I love Lima Beads.
I live about 40 min north east of Toronto, Ontario, Canada in a town called Uxbridge : we have a very active arts communityand I had only been here a month when I was asked to become secretary of the Uxbridge Arts Association!That’s what you get for being organized.
I love to create with my little Yorkie, Meggie, sleeping beside me, and a book on tape playing away. Chocolate helps too!
