Mary aka Smoky Rose Chick

I was born and raised in Chicago and her suburbs. I currently live in Upper Bucks County, PA (NW of Philly)

My heart is in the American South West, ‘enchanted’ by her beauty, climate, and freedom. My dream is to one day rejoin with my heart, there.

My employer is the nation’s first cancer hospital, established in 1904 and is the region’s only hospital devoted entirely to cancer treatment, research and prevention.
.
I love my job, because I am extremly passionate about what I and ‘we’ do. I hate my job because I am extremly passionate about what I and ‘we’ do. You’ll hear my whine about it.. but it feeds me like nothing else. My hope, my drive, is to give to our patients in their most vulnerable hour – to silently, invisibly, ease their burden, by having all the products in the building that their practioners need to treat them.

I learned to bead just about 3 years ago. Initially, a creative outlet. Creative since receiving my first box of crayons, and yet unsure just how to incorporate this creativity into my life.

My gratitude to all the Chicks, all the gals who continually uplift me, encourage me, and inspire me. I am beading now more than the past two years combined and am in the company of some of the warmest, most giving women out there! I thank you!
