I’m a weekend beader to put it in a nutshell. My 9am – 5pm keeps me busy. (actually 9-6) I am so glad to have this forum to meet and connect with other beaders. I started beading when I was 12 but dropped the hobby for a rather long time. school, kids, marriage, life… I picked it up again in 2006. In 2008 during a time I was laid off I had the privilege to teach jewelry making and painting to senior’s at their living center. They caught on really fast. Wow! I’m so glad to have a job in this economy, but I miss my students. Hope to make many friends here at Lima but even more, I hope to make more time for my love of this art even if it’s just a weekend hobby.
