I’m elderly and started beading late in life and am very hooked on beads – mostly semi-precious gemstones. But I do like high quality crystals and lampwork. I do work with a variety of beads and findings.
There is so much to learn but I love it. I’m a bit restricted due to health issues. Cannot wirewrap to save my soul.
I’m a widow with 2 sons, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, 2 daughters-in-law, 3+ cats, and a new dog Teddy.
I love the country but unfortunately live in the city now. But there are advantages in the city. However, I miss the log house we had on 10 acres and and I miss my big dogs. But now I have a little dog Teddy – probably a Papillon/chihuahua mix.
I have been here creating picks and getting to know folks here and I have to say this is one of the greatest places I’ve ever been. Great people! And I’m learning a lot!
Because I have to eventually move to a smaller place, I’m hoping to trade some of my beads for jewelry, some I’m trying to sell on Etsy, and the rest I’m giving away, and ultimately will, of course keep some so I can continue beading even after I move into an apartment.

Good golly Miss Molly – you are on a roll. I fave this one the most. Love the deep blues and shades like the capri blue and blue crazy lace. Great pick. This should go to a POD. And this one is going into my faves.
