I’m elderly and started beading late in life and am very hooked on beads – mostly semi-precious gemstones. But I do like Czech crystals and other high quality crystals and lampwork. I do work with a variety of beads and findings.
I make classic designs and occasionally go out of my comfort zone.
I’m a widow with 2 sons, 1 granddaughter, 1 grandson, 2 daughters-in-law, 3+ cats, and a new dog Teddy – a rescued papillon mix.
I love the country but unfortunately live in the city now. But there are advantages in the city. However, I miss the log house we had on 10 acres and and I miss my big dogs.

My mothers (mine and my hubby’s) were the best cooks ever. I could never begin to duplicate the delicious pies they made. Blueberry was one of the best. My mother always used less sugar than called for and that made the berry taste really come thru. Adding cinnamon would be really yummy. Fantastic pick.
Thanks Dill, Wanda and everyone. Dickens was a once in a lifetime cat. But he developed cancer early on and had several operations over the years. Each time he’d go into remission for a while. He was 11 by the time he went over the “rainbow bridge.” So we had 11 lovely years together.
