Hmm. I have no profile so I guess I’d better add one. I’m 60, live in Seattle with my husband the rocket scientist, and 3 Savannah cats.

I’m a retired librarian and I love playing with beads. I’m one of those people who learn by doing so I’m big on classes and have a hard time learning to do things with my hands from books.

I mostly do stringing and wirework, but am trying hard to learn beadweaving. Using a loom is really easy but I’m finding the others more challenging. I’ve played around some with peyote, ndebele, and right angle weave. Expect to learn spiral stitch soon.

What I like best about beading is all those little bits of glorious color. I have lots of semi-precious stones, pearls, and Swarovski. Other sorts of crystal too, but Swarovski is best!

I’ve been on Lima Beads for several years but I was away from beading and all around it for several years due to health reasons. Back now though.
