Candy aka Texas Chick

Hello I’m Candy Helms aka Texas Chick. I currently live in a small community called Hickory Creek that’s close to Lake Lewisville. Denton, TX is about 12 miles north, Lewisville is about 5 minutes south & Dallas maybe 20 minutes south. I have a birthday next month on the 18th of August. The loves of my life are my two beautiful grandsons Alex & Aiden. Alex will be 4 this August and Aiden turned 2 this past May. My son, Thompson, is going to college and working in a state correctional facility for youths. My daughter-in-law,Jen, is in the Air Force and just recently was promoted to recruiter. The AF is putting her in charge of the Greenville recruiting office which is a 10 minute drive from Royce City where they are looking for a home. I’ve been beading for around 2 years now. Found LB a couple of days into the Easter promo and became a forever loyal customer after recieving my first shipment of beads! I told Steve once that everytime my order arrives I get that feeling I have on Christmas morning right before opening presents. I can be having the worst day, but let me find a pkg from LB in the mailbox and suddenly alls right with the world LOL!! Most of my sales are from word of mouth. In November, 2008 I tried my hand at selling at a large craft show. Enjoyed the experience enough that I reserved booth space for 2009. My life these days revolves around my grandsons and creating sufficent inventory for the upcoming craft show.
