Personal

Hi!
My name is Tanja. But most part of my life I used to spell it Tanya. Then in 2001 I got married and moved from Moscow to Sweden. Since then Y has become J as it is more common here to spell it this way. Funny enough I even have my Name day here. It falls on a different day compared to Russia so I can celebrate it twice.
In my “previous” life I was an interpreter and a teacher of English and Russian as foreign languages and worked both as a state employee and later as a free-lance. I’ve always been interested in jewelry but could never imagine that one day I would start beading and designing my own pieces. I cannot say how it happened but now most of my free time I am beading. Love both seed beads and gemstones. Always a lot to learn and that’s most exciting. Happy to find this wonderful community of supportive and encouraging beaders.

Going to Prague for a few days to morrow…intending to visit their bead stores…already in anticipation! and of course all that beauty of the old town to see myself!
