I’m a New Zealander living in Auckland (our largest city). The area I live in is called Titirangi, which in Maori means “fringe of heaven”. It is indeed … Titirangi is the gateway to the Waitakere Ranges, an area rich in native forest.
Jewelry-making is my favorite craft activity at the moment, but I also enjoy textile printing, patchwork and other fabric arts.
My day job is teaching English as a second language to adults. This is undoubtedly the best job I’ve ever had – really interesting people from around the world who come to New Zealand to improve their English, meet other students and Kiwis and have a great time.

Yummy colours, fruit of the vine … I love the green, copper and deep purple. My fruit of the vine project is less ornate than yours, and uses a lime green chiffon ribbon instead of the chain you’ve used – I really like the chain!
I wish I could tell you more about the pendant, but I think I bought it years ago when I loved beads but hadn’t started beading seriously. As a result I didn’t note down what the stone was. I’ve had a look around the gemstone beads on the Limabeads website, and wonder if it might be [...]
