Hi all, just found this site and am like a sponge just soaking up all the inspiration emanating from all of you. WOW!!!
I have been beading for almost 2 years, thanks to my sister, (I think) and really enjoy all the creativity of it. Sometimes I just sit and stare at beads and nothing happens…then the next day…viola…it just clicks and they just seem to fall into place…all I have to do is string.
I am married (45 years in Aug.), 2 daughters (married) and 3 grandsons… 5 years, 20 months, and 1 year, and 1 rescued dog…Pomeranian.
Besides beading, I like to garden…hubby bought me a tiller this year and he refuses to use it, so early mornings you may find me behind it getting another spot ready to plant. So far the 4 legged critters haven’t found my garden so that leaves more for us…cukes, tomatoes, beans, limas, zucchini, potatoes, peppers, cabbqage, brussels sprouts…think that is all. Wet spring and early summer didn’t seem to hurt it other than tomatoes are really small but still delish.
We live in Virginia…anyone else from here…small town. Nearest bead stores are about 35 miles away so trips tend to be far between and big purchases.
I see so many different techniques here and hope to learn how to do them ALL. Just gotta find tutorials.
So happy beading to you all.
