It feels amazing to have found my passion in beads!! I’ve always been a creative one, went to art school and received a degree in fashion design. Worked in the fashion industry for 1 year…boy what a cut-throat industry!! Not for me…I like to get along with people!! My mother in law, whom I love dearly, was told by the good Lord that she was supposed to start beading. She didn’t have 1 creative bone in her body, but he gave her one to support this venture in her life. She would talk about beading and making jewelry, and I could feel this amazing energy building inside of me everytime she talked about it. One day I set out to buy the necessities and started teaching myself. I self teach myself everything…and I’m about to dive into the world of metal sheets and metal punches. I’m soooooooo excited!!!!!

Anywho, I’ve been married for 7 years and I have a 6 year old daughter and a 5 year old son. We live in Minnesota…lots of beading time in the winter.

I’m so thrilled to have found this amazing group that is “Lima Beads”. I love everything about this website..it stays open all day! I think it’s safe to say I’m hooked!!
