My real name is Susan and I live in Houston with my husband, teenage son, a big dog, and a tiny little cat. I have two crafting habits that keep me occupied when I’m not busy with work or grad school, jewelry making and knitting.

I have had a long time love of rocks and minerals, which I hunted and dug for as a kid. I always wanted to make jewelry with the pretty ones, so I started designing and making jewelry in 2005. I am primarily self taught and I use mostly stones, pearls, sterling silver, and crystals in my designs, but have recently gotten into lampwork beads and Vintaj. Wirework and stringing are my staples, and I have done some seed bead stitching in the past (when I had the patience).
