Personal
I am a visual artist who came to love beading through my daughter, Amy, who taught me everything I know.
Besides being totally addicted to beads (I never met a bead I didn’t like, and, you should see my wall of beads). I have always felt that jewelry making was/is as much a fine art as painting or drawing, just a different medium. I bring to my jewelry making all that I learned as an artist, and my jewelry work feeds back into my paintings (I have included beads and thread in some of my mixed media pieces).
It’s great to be part of a community of beaders, so to everyone I say a hearty “hello” and “nice to meet you.”

I love this. The colors are great. Not quite steampunk. What would you call this type of thing. I saw some jewelry, and actually some art work, made out of the insides of old computer circuit boards … very cool, as is yours.

Oh! I really love this! What a wonderful Spring/Summer necklace. Wear with a pretty skirt and blouse or dress up a pair of jeans. Wonderful. Into my faves!
