I have been making jewelry for about 5 years. I started with necklaces and earrings using stones,crystal,seed beads, etc. I retired a few years ago (at an early age!) and decided to expand my skills. I enrolled in a metal smithing program at the local college. I just finished my 5th term and will be returning in the fall. My instructor is known nationally for her jewelry using Japanese alloys. I have done casting, hollow form, enameling and love all of it. I have a small studio at home and try to spend as much time as I can expanding my skills.
