I have facebook, mostly because my family members (the younger ones) wanted me to do it. BUT I agree w/ the Chicks and others in that we already have our own spot right here at Lima Beads. We visit, shop, chat, shop, stay in touch, shop the BGBM, make fresh picks, see new ideas, shop some more. I think you see where this is going. Don’t change too much, because we love you just as you are.
Of course, we do love all the specials, and new bead day, and Tues. Lunch, and Wow! lots to love!

Hi Kevin, I follow you on Twitter which is another place to gain exposure to your products. I find Twitter is a little more interesting than Facebook because it is done in real time. I have been involved in a few forums but this is, by far, the best and most relaxed site I’ve ever seen or been involved with. Please don’t change a thing because I am now hooked!

I have Facebook because I use it to keep in touch with my college kids. I told my daughter I have found the equivalent of Facebook made just for beaders and I LOVE it! I’m glad to have updates from Limabeads on my Facebook page, but it won’t keep me from coming to this site and for those who don’t have Facebook, you aren’t missing anything. I just get same info in two different places and when I do get on Facebook, I have little reminder to come to the Lima website!

Add my sentiments to my friends above! Although, with the amount of time my daughter spends on facebook, I do see it as a way to reach out to a different audience. I for one love this forum, where we’ve all met so many others from all over. Looking forward to the new section where we can post our work in progress in one place. Thanks LB for a great website!

I totally agree with ALL that was already said. I’m a stick-in-the-mud like CAS and really have no time or desire to join facebook. I’ll stay right here. I’m not so good with change either.

I agree with the above! I don’t have time to get drawn into facebook (I‘m on here way too much as it is )!! besides, I like the feeling of this site an the beading community we have right here (right “Chicks”)! I’d think you wouldn’t want to divert people away from your site. And the less time we spend on your site the less the temptation to buy beads (which could be a good thing for some of us but…). Although this could be good publicity for Lima and it must be nice for those beaders who spend a lot of time on facebook. I don’t know… I guess I’m just saying ‘it’s cool but I think I’ll stay right here‘.
