Great info, Ali! Was just wondering the other day what was 'in' for Spring! So glad to see some of my own fav colors in vogue - it's really hard to design when colors that you don't like are popular! Thanks again for the research!!

What a great article about color trends! Thanks for putting it together, and for everyone's great comments above.

I have a beautiful NEW "put in the front" huge round sterling horse clasp from Clasp-on, Clasp-off that I've been wondering what to do with. Guess what, TURQUOISE! Thank you! SLS

Hmmm! Interesting! I've never been one to follow trends and am glad there really isn't a major one to create for this year. Just means we can create to our hearts content and make our own trends!! :-D

So happy to know turquoise is the "go to" stone of the year. It has always been my favorite stone. Seems like I may be a minority, I am a huge fan of Southwest and Native American jewelry! It is so near and dear to my heart, a symbol of my heritage and my first love in jewelry.

And I love all the tones and shades of Pantone colors! Not sure I'll follow them as a "trend" but simply because I like them! :-)

Thanks Ali for all the interesting tid-bits to ponder and the great article!

I'm glad that both the Turquoise and the Teal is in the list. Blue based colors are best on me. But I was hoping that Periwinkle Blue would come back around. Dried herb looks like a dark sage color. The Green Zebra would match very well. But if you don't like the pale pink, use it sparingly with the Turquoise and Red, it will give the eye some where to pause.

Thanks for sharing the new color trends! I like them all except the pink champagne since I'm not into the pastels so much. Like many others I'm not into the southwest designs but do love turquoise.

Looks like I need to buy more beads!

I'm trying to branch out more with combining different colors and I love looking at all the fresh picks created. I'm sure I have a good majority of the beads in my pile it's just getting them together. My mind tends to change faster than I can make them. I can deff. relate to turquoise causing tranquility. I love looking at the beachy picks, I am most happiest when I can be at the beach.
