What’s Fresh?

Posted by Steve on April 26 at 12:09 pm

What's Fresh at Lima Beads?Today, we’d like to announce a new feature on our website that we think will make it easier to stay on top of everything that’s going on at Lima Beads. We’re calling it What’s Fresh and you can find it by clicking the “Fresh” option at the top of the website. We really hope you like it.

What’s the big deal?

I’ll be very honest with you all. With the hundreds of Fresh Picks, design ideas, tips & techniques, new products, restocks, and more that happen here every month, it’s really hard for us to keep track of it all. So we started thinking of ways to combine it all into one easy view, organized by date. We’re thrilled with the results.

When we were creating this page, one thing was abundantly clear: we have our customers to thank for so much of what goes on around here. We’re grateful for everyone’s willingness to share their design ideas, Fresh Picks, comments, pictures, and more. We wouldn’t be here without you.

Your feedback is important to us!

As always, we would love your feedback on the new What’s Fresh page. You can leave your comments below!

Woo hoo!!!! It’s a humongous recap that seems to go on forever! Love, love, love this new feature, Steve! Kudos once again to you and the entire LB team for creating something so innovative! :D Thanks to all! :D

This is another reason LB is the best site out there and the only place to shop!!! Other reasons include the incredible selection, great prices, super-fast shipping, the AMAZING staff (truly incomparable), and the opportunity to connect with & form friendships with so many wonderful beaders!!! Thanks! :D

OK, this has nothing to do with the “What’s Fresh” section, but I don’t know where else to ask this. I haven’t purchased any of the new bottle caps yet and was wondering how to use them (either shape)? Are they drilled with a hole? I check the tips & techniques section, but couldn’t find any info there.

Also, I haven’t yet purchased the liver of sulfur gel and was wondering if it needs to be mixed or diluted with something or is it used “straight”? Thanks for the help!

OK at first it’s a little overwhelming but WOW it’s Great. Everything I look at first at my fingertip!! I have to tell you guys your website is my favorite-colorful, well-designed, excellent graphics. Prices are good also and the shipping has caused me to be suspicious of other websites. Thank you and even though I am diabetic the Twizzler touched me! Ah-! Don’t lose that personal touch, ever.

Hi Lynn, I checked with the manufacturer and they said that the liver of sulfur gel may be used in concentrate or diluted in warm water for desired effect.
Regarding the new Glass Garden bottle caps, I’m not sure if you are referring to the bottle cap puff coins or the bottle cap flowers. The puff coins have a hole running through them similar to that of a drilled gemstone puff coin, the flowers have a single hole in the middle. The puff coins are great for earrings since they are so light, or as charms or a funky accent bead in a design. The flowers work well to stack or as a link, you could also punch additional holes to customize it.

Thanks, Ali! I really appreciate you taking the time to check into the liver of sulfur gel for me! :D Regarding the bottle caps, I was curious about how to use both types. Your explanation solves that mystery for me! :D

I LOVE the What’s Fresh page! I have just one question, though..Can you bring back the color wall for the seed beads and Czech glass? It made things so much easier to find!
