thank you chickies! what other kinds of colors do you think might go well w/ such a striking stone like this coffee bean jasper? it seems to have some burgundy – mauve/purplish undertones, but not sure if it might also go well w/ purple stones…

I’ll pull mine out after another cup of coffee and tell you, Joyce… for sure burundy, for sure! that’s what first drew me it it – was a compliment to garnet.

Joyce, my angel face kitty was sleeping right next to my beads – so, I let her and just now dug into the box for my coffee bean. I don’t know that true purple, like amethyst would go – although, that might just be my traditional style….. I’d say: grey, soft peaches, browns, blacks, a soft watercolor lavendar – if it was on the muddy side – all burgundy/garnet shades – some again, muddier rose quartz, or a coppery mauve… It is beautiful! I think certain beads, the less purp of the rosy white would work. Just my two cents worth….

Joyce – the more I look at them, the more I think yeah! the more muted rosy white would work!
