I laugh listening to you youngsters – ABBA when you were a kid – My husband and I played our ABBA album on the turntable.
The movie was so much fun!
DD – you reminded me of my family’s holiday tradition – making homemade manicotti for 20. We had an assembly line set up with my mom making the crepes and grandma supervising us kids with the filling and rolling. We’d always make enough so we could freeze some for another time.

D D Mystic Chick says:Gem Chick, we do an assembly line set up too… my dad makes the filling 3 days before we gather to make the raviolis… my cousin makes the dough, my mom/niece runs the dough thru the machine till it’s very thin, oldest daughter is in charge of filling each one, multiple people cut each of the raviolis (cuz it’s really hard on the hands) (that’s my job), and then my youngest daughter & nephew lines them up on sheets of waxed paper and counts them… then they are put in the freezer usually for 2 weeks… we have them in soup (chicken broth) they are more delicate in flavor/texture than regular raviolis
