Floral Stitched Leather Cuff

As soon as I saw this piece from Green Girl Studios, I immediately knew what I wanted to do. I was just calling to be stitched onto something. This leather cuff fit the bill. I dressed it up with some ribbon embellishment because I love the contrasting elements of hard and soft, both in material and theme.

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

Place the floral focal in the center of the cuff and mark out the holes to be punched.

Step 2

Punch the holes using the rotary punch. For this, I chose to use it on the smallest setting.

Step 3

After marking off the focal with punches, punch all of your border holes.

Step 4

Stitch on the Green Girl floral piece using 4 ply Irish waxed linen. Then finish off with a few tight overhand knots.

Step 5

Using a collapsible needle, stitch on the ribbon to soften the appearance of the border of the cuff.
