The acorn serves as a statement of strength, potential in life, and perseverance. This necklace is a really easy way to give someone something meaningful without having to express it with words.

Supplies you’ll need:

  • 18" finished sterling silver chain
  • 1 Grace lamp work glass acorn
  • a couple sterling silver slides

Step-by-Step Instructions:

Step 1

This is probably the easiest necklace I have made yet! String on your acorn, then holding both sides of the chain together, slip on the sterling silver "slides" (tube & o ring), dropping them down to the acorn. If you can't get your clasp on the chain through the "slides", remove the clasp using the same technique as opening and closing a jump ring. Then simply re-attach the clasp. That's it!
