Rhyolite necklace
About this design:
I wanted to put together a necklace for a bohemian blouse that is a light mustard yellow - the same color as the pearls. I do not know what the donut is made from, but it was the only one close to being yellow/orange in color. I learned how to wire-wrap the donut using one of Eni Oken's tutorials.
Components:
gold/yellow stick pearls, rhyolite barrel beads, Czech iris brown beads, MOP rice beads, flat round gold pearls, Swarovski yellow and clear 8mm crystals.Additional Images:

Fenya says:Thank you everyone! These colors were really outside of my comfort zone. Karen, you can find the tutorial on Eni Oken’s website, http://www.enioken.com. The tutorial is called Frame Donut Pendant. I added the twist in the wires in order to make them more tight against the donut.

Fenya says:Thank you! Lori, I used half hard wire with this donut. It seems to hold it’s shape better and the wire does not get all kinked up (well not too much)like the dead soft wire does.
