Modern Swirl (celtic)

About this design:

This is my first attempt with my new wigjig. It's the first pattern in the leaflet for a celtic earring. Then made the rest. Made ear wires on the wigjig also.

Components:

Gold plated 20ga wire and chain. Impression jasper rondelles.

Gorgeous … it’s hard to believe this is a first attempt with a wig jig. Wow! And the Impression Jasper goes with the wire work beautifully.

thank you every one. i wore it today driving truck. the bracelet hangs in the way and easily bends. really lite, don’t even know i have it on. i think i will try a 18 ga next time in silver color and see if that helps. it was hard to work harden because the wire cross over each other. i thought maybe i could put each piece before i attach together, in between an old phone book and tap with mallet slightly, maybe that will work. again thank you.

Fabulous, Karen! I would not have guessed that this was your first attempt! I have a wig jig (had it for awhile) and never tried it. I think I will after seeing your work!!

thank you. i turned the piece the other way, so it would not stretch apart. not the way the pattern said. try the phone book idea on each piece before you connect together. thanks again.
