Charoite Cabochon

About this design:

Gorgeous Cabochon, ready for framing :)
It is 60mm by 20mm.
I could not take my eyes or hands from it. I bought it in Ekaterinburg , Ural Mountains, Russia. It is sooooooooo beautiful in real life!!

Did not decide on the setting yet...

Any idea? It has another stone layer for backing as in this size Charoite is too fragile to handle for settings :)

Components:

Charoite Cabochon, 60 mm by 20mm.

I was thinking of putting it in the Sterling Silver or Gold filled ready setting but I did not see anything in this size and form so, maybe I will wrap it…

We will go there next summer again to see my son , his wife and our grand daughters and will go to the mining towns. I did not want to go there this time as I hate when there are no toilets through the 4 hour drive and in the town too… But there are the best deals and gems… oh, well :) This one I got in Ekaterinburg , which is very big beautiful, academical and cultural city and of cause the prices are much higher .

Beautiful stone with a gorgeous pattern. When I sat back and really looked at I could see a dynamic seascape with swirling clouds and big waves. It will make an incredible piece of jewelry.
