Recycled Agate

About this design:

I posted a picture of this agate shortly after I removed it from an extremely bland necklace I bought at a thrift store. The pattern in the agate is so strong that I didn't want to get too fancy with the way I finished it. After brief consideration I decided on a simple swirl with a small curl to finish it off. I chose to string it on suede with the rings to keep it in place and add a touch of copper above the pendant. The toggle is a solid copper one from LB. (LB is my go-to place for copper toggles. They have the best selection.)

Components:

Agate, copper wire, copper toggle, suede leather

Lovely…I think you were right about letting the beauty of the agate slice shine with minimal embellishment.
