Summer 2011 Booth Display!!

About this design:

Here's my current booth that Eric set up for me. We've now incorperated both pieces of the "Pie Safe" that belonged to his mom. Not only does it add an additional element in the back, but it also protects everything in it from higher winds! I featured my earring display that has the card holders that Eric designed for me. They feature the main stone in front and list all the secondary stones on the back. The price can be cut off if it's for a gift , and still leave my name & website on the back..the tall vases are the latest addition, and are a perfect way to highlight my larger Simple Sensations. The responce thus far has been amazing!!

Eeka, I have a table in the back , beside the big table where I process the sales, and I have a small bookcase in the back that I keep my bags and boxes in…. at some of the shows I have a bigger booth , or the back is more open and I have more room to sit….

Cindy, the hangers on the vase are picture hangers that Eric altered to fit on the glass… I have a show Saturday and will get a close up for you….

Janet , the picture frames have worked really well to display the larger pieces… and the pieces I put in there sell very well… especially the one on the front….

My August will be really busy with shows…

I am doing my first outdoor show this upcoming weekend and I am a nervous wreck!!! I am so used to setting up for indoor shows and had to “shift gears” for an outdoor one. I LOVE YOUR booth, it looks so inviting. Hopefully mine turns out this well. We did a “dry run” in the back yard the other day and I still am not satisfied with the look of it. I will take pics this weekend and let you knowhow it goes. Good luck on your busy schedule this month. I am sure you will do great.

With all the years I’ve been doing jewelry, I have never done a show or market before! I’ve had home parties and do sales thru referrals, etc. Guess I should find out just how well my pieces would sell! I would be afraid no one would buy anything and I’d be crushed! Anyways, Violet, your display is very appealing to the eye and your displays are awesome! Hats off to you! You go, girl! good luck!

Jeanne…. I have been constantly changing and tweaking my display too… so I know what you mean…. I think it has finally developed into what I am finally happy with…. but it has been a process…

Caryn… yes , the wind can be a nightmare !!!! I have had my share of things broken… another think we have been constantly changing and trying new ways to fend off the wind…. Eric has come up with some wonderful ideas for holding down the displays…. I will take some close ups on saturday and post them…..

One thing I notice first is your jewelry! Your booth is so very pretty, but at the same time it does not take away from your jewelry. That is a great selling feature! Love how you put gemstones on display throughout your booth! Sound like you will be very busy!
