About this design:
In case any of the "old timers" are wondering... I'm still around. I've been very busy with art shows and trunk shows this summer, plus getting my website started. My website is a work in progress ~ I really think the hardest part is writing about myself.
I also had to share the great signs I had made at Staples. They have a special on the 18x24 photo enlargements ~ just $10, mounted on foam board and laminated till the end of September. I'm not sure how the foam board will hold up over time, but you really can't beat the price.

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:Thanks so much! Unfortunately my photos don’t really show my seashore theme. The bracelets on the risers are sitting on shells and there are more shells (artistically) strewn about.

K H says:I love the look of the layered tablecloths! You were lucky to be on grass – I have been to some shows that were set up on steets and parking lots.

Cotopaxi Chickie Sue says:A very inviting booth, indeed! I love the signs, especially since they break up the white white white of the tent (always my problem…). Hope your sales are great!

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:Thank you ladies!
Katherine – I do prefer grass to asphalt or concrete, except when it rains all night and floods the vineyard. Which is exactly what happened last weekend. I had a fair day on Saturday. I ended up on the plus side so I was looking forward to Sunday. Unfortunately the show had to be cancelled because it rained straight through Sunday and the grounds were saturated.
Maria – I tend to stick with shows out east. I’ll let you know if I’m ever closer to you.

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:I cropped the photo some more so you could see the shells.
Katherine – do you apply to juried shows? I’ve been having the hardest time with my booth shot. I think I need to have the camera higher.

K H says:Jeanne, I did my first table show earlier this summer and hope to do 1 this fall. I have a piece under consideration for a gallery show. I belong to several organizations and often sell pieces of my jewelry for their fund raisers – and I have a shelf at the beauty shop – so it’s easier for me to organize space the size of a shoebox than the size of a tent. Lynn g says:What a great display, and love the signs, I should check that out…

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:Lynn, you can order signs on line, but I think the promotion might be in-store. Lucky for me the store is 15 minutes away and I had them overnight.
Katherine, I’ve been working on the booth design for 3 years. I’m really happy with it now and get lots of compliments at shows ~ just can’t seem to get a great photo. I may have to hire someone, but I don’t want to spend th $$$.
