About this design:
I bought this gorgeous fire agate cabochon from Lima ages ago and finally got around to weaving its resting place.
This took over 40 hours of work to complete. It is made using freeform netting and is inspired by Beverly Ash Gilbert.
Components:
Fire Agate, seed beads, Carnelian, swarovski crystalsRead the comments (or add your own)

K H says:I know several people who do seed bead weaving. I know that it takes a lot of time, patience and good lighting conditions to do it right. I admire people who can pull it off, and this piece is AWESOME!!!

DOE S says:My goodness that is so beautiful. I am just learning to bead. I’m not in a very good location either. I’m in SE Kansas and the bead stores in my area don’t carry a large variety. I am very unsure of sizes and colors to order from an online source. I hope someday I can get as good as you are. I am only interested in doing it for myself and for gifts for my friends.

Lynn in Oz says:Thanks!
Doe, this is a real mix of beads- bead soup
Lima now have a fantastic range of seedies and cabs and freshwater pearls and then all you need is to go along to Amazon and get Beverly Ash Gilberts book on Colours and you too could be doing something like this.
The great thing about freeform beadwork is there aren’t any rules
