Save Second Base
About this design:
I was asked to design a piece to be raffled off as a fund raiser for the Long Island 2-Day Walk to Fight Breast Cancer. Naturally, we wanted some sort of pink. I wanted it a design that could transition from jeans to special occasion and would retail for at least $200 to justify the $5 raffle ticket. Cathy was a great help when I called to ask about the beryl morganite and what might complement it. Of course, I had to add a personal touch with some wire work. The pendant "bezel" is hand wrapped sterling silver.
There will be earrings, but I haven't decided on a design yet. Either simple beryl morganite with a bead cap or wrapped coin pearls like the pendant.
Components:
8mm faceted beryl morganite, faceted rose quartz rondelles, coin pearls from my LBS, sterling silver spacers and components.Additional Images:

The event is in 2 weeks. I’ve had to pass on all sorts of Christmas fairs to prepare. It started out as a home show featuring my jewelry. Now it’s an open house at a salon. They expect 40-50 women in 3 hours. I’m hoping to have enough inventory.
