About this design:
I custom made this for a neighbor of mine for Christmas. She had a cuff I made for her earlier this year, and she lost it, so she wanted me to make her another one, but this time with a clasp. It was quite an experience, but I'm really happy with the result! Hope she likes it...

Violet, I’ll check messages soon…
Nancy, I had been thinking about 6 ga…hmmm (ya, right! This was tough enough! You would have been laughing if you had seen the contortions I went through!)
Lynn, I didn’t think the peacock pearls would work well, but they really do. I’m happy – hope Kathleen will be!
Sarah, it’s good to see you again!

Cotopaxi Chickie Sue says:Thank you Kim!
Thanks, Katherine! The ‘fun’ part was getting the ends smooth and rounded – there has to be a better way than filing and sanding with steel wool!

K H says:Maybe a dremel? I use a lot of nail boards. They are cheap and work great.
On Dec 15, 2011 at 12:54 am #
Cotopaxi Chickie Sue says:I might have to try the nail boards. I’m a little heavy handed with the dremel – doesn’t give me the control I need. Thanks for the advice, K H!
