Marie Antoinette

About this design:

When I saw this piece of broken china and then found the rhodochrosite and the pearls, I knew exactly what it would be! Ok so I read too many books on Marie over the summer! I took a bezel and put it around the china piece and then wired these little gray pearls to bring out the gray in the focal. The rhodocrosite is Grade A and beautiful. In between each of these rosy little gems I put tiny black diamond Swarovski crystals. I strung the pearls with tiny rose Swarovski crystals, and voila! It was done. And it turned out just like I had dreamed for it!

Components:

china piece, freshwater pearls, Rhodochrosite, Swarovski crystals

Absolutely stunning, Sali Jo! Your china focal is amazing, both in the pattern and your wonderful bezel design. And the rhodochrosite and pearls really finish this off beautifully! Wow!

I just have to agree with all the other ladies’ comments, Sandra! This is absolutely stunning!!! I’ve admired this beauty ever since you listed her in your Etsy shop! :D I love the color combo and am very impressed with the way you managed to attach those pearls to the piece of china — you are a very clever Chicky! :D
