Another Opal For Sam

About this design:

My daughter's birthday is in October. Each year I try to use a different opal. This year, she requested a triple wrap. I had the rainbow black opal in stock and just had to use the Patricia Healey copper heart.
That would be my husband that I cut out of the photo. Sam wears this bracelet constantly with the authentic single Chan Luu bracelet she got from a co-worker.

Components:

Rainbow black opal rondelles, leather, Patricia Healey button

Jeanne, I love this bracelet! I’m going to try to make one myself, with Ali’s tutorial! Wish me luck! BTW, your Sam is a cutie!

Wow! Lucky Sam!! It’s beautiful, Jeanne! :-D
I’m with Lynn, I’m going to have to commit myself to learning this technique. I love ‘em too!

Colors are really great. I was afraid P. Healey copper would overpower bracelet; but it looks so good. I just dabble in beading and I made a triple wrap for my granddaughter of 16 (she actually liked it). Used Ali’s tut and it’s easy-pizy! When you make one, you want to make more (and they are comfortable). By the way, your daughter has your features, she’s a doll!

Great job on the design…Love the color. I’m going to have to check Ali’s tutorial and give it a try.

Thank you all so much! My husband doesn’t like his photo “out there” which is why I cut him out, Lynn!
I make a lot of single bracelets with larger beads. There easy and quick and fast sellers!

I use I slightly different technique than Ali. I learned from a tut in last January’s Beadstyle mag. I center the first bead on the thread and then weave it criss-cross like lacing shoes.

Thanks! LB has fabulous leather! I think this is the 1.5mm. I use 2mm with larger beads.

Thank you Gina, Alice and Violet,
I’m always on the lookout for any kind of opal. I found these here on LB quite a while ago. I notice they don’t have them anymore.
