Little Round Chick says:WOW! You have sure been a busy beaver! Love all of the bracelets you’ve made. I can see why they fly off the table at the shows. I’m going to have to give this technique a try. Maybe I’ll do one or two this next week.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year or as we say back in the hills, Have a Cool Yule and a Frantic First!

NY Bella says:Ditto “WOW”! I love all your bracelets, Jeanne! I’m glad to see that you can use different shaped beads and not just round ones. Thanks for sharing these!!

Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:Thank you!
I wasn’t sure about the ceramic square, but it worked really well. I also had a lot of fun in VT last summer scouring the antique shops for buttons. The round one with the flower up top is from that trip.
Merry Christmas to you too, Nancy!

Chicky Suz aka Susan Z says:Awesome bracelets Jeanne, do you mind if I ask how much do you sell them for?
On Dec 22, 2011 at 5:21 am #
Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:Thanks again, Friends!
Susan, price depends on the materials and my time. I like the single wraps because they don’t take long and are often priced to sell. (check your messages)
Lynnn, dear friend, I hope you are feeling better. Merry Christmas to you and Bob! We’re looking forward to having Sam home. Unfortunately she has to work Friday, so we won’t see her till Saturday. Gives me time to finish her special piece of jewelry.

Coree M says:May I ask how much you charge your customers?
On Jan 12, 2012 at 7:37 pm #
Jeannes Gems - Gem Chick says:Thanks Coree for the sweet comment.
Ali has a tutorial for these bracelets, but I do my a little differently. I originally found the instructions in last January’s Beadstyle mag.
After tying the button on, I center the first bead on the stringing cord then pass the cords around both sides of the leather and back through the bead. It’s like lacing shoes. I hope that makes sense. For a single bracelet I use 24″ of leather. double wrap – 40″, triple – 52″
I use about 4 times the length of cord for wrapping.
