About this design:
I think my little air plant croaked! =(
But still makes a nice backdrop for earrings. These are silver & brass etched in the saltwater bath, patina'd with Guilders Paste, sanded & sealed with clear coat.
Components:
20 G Nickle silver sheet, 22 G Brass sheet, Czech Glass squares.Read the comments (or add your own)

I did, however find a nifty little explaination on this site: http://www.greenart.info/galvetch/advan.htm that discusses the advantages of chemical free etching, and includes a nice paragraph of what actually does take place in the “Bath”. Happy Etching!
