About this design:
First post! Been lurking on this post for months now but this is my first posting. I've been doing jewelery for about 3 years, starting with wire working, and re-construction, both of which I still do. I'm just getting into beading and will post when hubby gets pictures done.( cannot take a picture to save my soul, lol) I'm "self taught" since there are not a lot of classes on the small island in Canada where I live, hurrah for the internet! Got this watch for xmas, with the usual cheap fake leather strap, soooo, made my own. t has four clasps so it can be switched out with a new bracelet any time I get around to making more. Hope you like it!
Components:
watch face, 4 lobster hooks, bali beads and spacers, green stones- adventurine? stretch cordRead the comments (or add your own)

nancykathryn says:Violet, thanks for your kind comments about my watch, and your warm welcome. I’ve actually looked at ALL of the designs on the gallery, and your amazing work, so your comments really mean a lot to me as an amateur! Looking at all of the designs here has challenged me to do more in my own work. I am so impressed with the warm and inviting atmosphere on this site from all of you, and felt that I could post my work with all of you professionals for encouraging help and assistance. I’m so happy that I found this site, truly one of a kind!

Eeka Mouse says:VERY clever to incorporate those lobster claws into the design so you can easily interchange bands. And welcome to the community!

nancykathryn says:Wish I could take the credit Eeka for the lobster claw idea, but it is not mine, lol. When I wanted to make the watch bracelet, I googled it, and found lots of youtube videos and how to make one, and saw this idea being used. Sooo, not so original! Thanks for the welcome,I hope to be a useful, or at least an admiring, poster here!
