Amber Agony

About this design:

So I made this loverly bracelet using a motif I saw somewhere on line, got hubby to take a picture of it,and promptly had it fall apart because my knot on the end gave. So, I decided to make lemonade, and redid the piece as a choker style necklace instead. This time I used string instead of plastic thread, so the knots would hold. This design is a right angle weave, with picots.

Components:

beading thread, 3 mm amber glass bicones, recycled glass pearls in light beige, cheap seed beads size 11.

Sorry about the bracelet coming apart, but glad you “made lemonade out of lemons”! Love the design and colors! :D

Sigh. I have had this type of thing happen more times than I care to remember, especially when I was first starting out as a beader. Breaking, over-stretching, crimps not holding, forgetting to put a bead stopper on the beginning of a strand and then having everything fall off…..gee, I don’t sound very good at this, do I?!?!?! LOL 8O

Oh well, we live and learn. On thing about getting older, I’ve learned some patience, and I don’t get as frustrated with my mistakes as I used to do, I try to use it as a challenge, lol.
