Purple Chick aka Violet says:I like the simpler look of the redo… it shows off the pendant better !!

nancykathryn says:That’s what I was aiming for, lol. Do you real designers struggle with your designs too???
On Jan 05, 2012 at 12:24 pm #
Little Round Chick says:Real designer or not, yes, yes, YES I struggle with my designs. I have a box full of half done designs that wouldn’t, couldn’t or didn’t work out. If I took them all apart I could open my own bead store!
BTW I really like your simplified version and Violet is right it really show off the pendant.

Little Round Chick says:…it really show…? How ungrammatical. It really shows off the pendant. Now, isn’t that better?

Designs by Elaine says:Beautiful, what are black wire beads? I can’t see them too well. I am from Madison, WI..guess who we know in common?

nancykathryn says:Hi Elaine, glad you made it here. Its a great community to join. The black beads are made with wire, wrapped around to make an openish (no such word!) bead. My daughter bought them. Sorry for the crappy picture, I’ll see if hubby can take better tomorrow if the light is good.

Lynn Eileen Chicky LE says:HAHAHA — Nancy! Once a teacher, always a teacher.
I also like your redo better for the same reason as the other ladies!
I’m sure we all have the same situation that Nancy refers to — so many items waiting to be taken apart or tweeked.
I like to think that we’re all real designers, whether we create jewelry just for ourselves, for gifts, and/or to sell. Please try to think of yourself that way, too!
