About this design:

Made on a kumihimo disk, using 8 strands – 6 of Coats & Clark black nylon crochet thread and 2 of pastel eyelash yarn. The strands of eyelash were started at the 12:00 and 3:00 positions. The bail, hook and crimps are created from lavender aluminum wire (from Dollar Tree) and the final touch is a lavender FWP. Earrings are made from spirals of the lavender wire with FWPs suspended by SP chain down the center.

    You are far more advanced in your kumihimo designs than I am. I’m still just playing around with jute cord.

    The yarn is very soft….not ticklish at all. In fact, it’s left from a three/strand necklace that I knitted for mom on the KniftyKnitter. BTW, yarn is very stretchy, so IMHO it’s best to use it with something firm like the nylon crochet thread, or maybe the jute or waxed linen or rat tail. Have you tried adding seed beads yet? I did a little test piece before dinner. The seeds don’t fit on the #18 nylon. I have seen thinner nylon, I think it was at HL. Katherine :)
