Ring and Labradorite Earrings

About this design:

Two more pairs of earrings I've made as gifts. Anyone I give earrings too always really like them and tell me that they get compliments on them.

The irony is I don't wear earrings, so they are always commenting on how well I make them when I don't know anything about them. I'm still learning how to work with the head pins, so my attachments are a little rough sometimes but I'm getting better each time. I hope you like them.

Components:

Ring earrings: shell rings, glass beads, Czech seed beads, head pins Labradorite earrings: crystal beads, Labradorite, cloisonne beads, head pins

Thanks Coral! I find earrings are one of the easiest things to make in that they don’t usually use a lot of beads, but the combinations usually are work out well.

Great looking ear rings. I especially like the ones made with the shell rings. :)

I enjoy making ear rings and make quite a lot of them, too. Since I don’t have pierced ears or wear ear rings of any sort I’m not always sure if they are too heavy. Luckily my daughter in law will try on any I’m in doubt about and let me know.

    Thanks!

Since I don’t have pierced ears, I go by what my friends and family tell me, hence way they are short and with not too many stones, they have also told me that if they feel heavy on my pinkie finger they are too heavy (in their opinion) for the ear. Not exactly sure why that is or what that means precisely, but I just go with it. ;)
