A Make Over

About this design:

This piece started out as a bracelet. When I finished and tried it on I found it was waaaaay too big both up and down and around. So much for that idea.

I put it away and promptly forgot about it. No idea how long ago I made it. Then a couple of weeks ago it caught my eye. I did some trimming on each end and used the pieces to make ear rings, made new loops, strung the beads and attached the chain.
It's interesting but I think it is a candidate for the closet.

Components:

copper wire, composite shell and resin beads

I especially like the earrings – a bit like hieroglyphics – and can see the necklace w/a low square-neck top in warm weather…

Beautiful set, Nancy. It’s turning lemons into lemonade! I too especially love the design on the earrings…sleek and modern.

Very minimalistic Egyptian. I like it! I’m with Eeka, a square-neck top would be great with it.

Thanks for all of the nice comments everyone.

    Love your comment gembeans…Minimalistic Egyptian… What a title. :D

Quute, I couldn’t wear something this large. I am vertically challenged and this wouldn’t look too great on a shorty. :D
