About this design:
I've been experimenting with reclaimed cotton and silk 'ribbon'. I really liked the fuzzy texture of the black bracelet, and wanted to add a little sparkle to it. The two toned purple bracelet was a little off in the formation of the crochet, but I decided to see what adding a few beads would do. I liked the results. I also included a photo of just a plain crochet bracelet. Fresh Baked designs really inspired me to find the sari silk ribbon, and I haven't been disappointed. Thanks, Lynda.
I like to work with ribbons and fabric more then metals because I like it and think it unique. But also, like other people in my family, metals tend to tarnish easily when I wear them--or hold them after about an hour my needles when I sew are tarnished and black is rubbing off on my hands.
