About this design:
Growing up I would ask my Mom why she would have to wear make up and spend a lot of time getting ready, just to go to the store. She use to respond that one never knew when they would run into their Prince Charming. One day we went to a card store, and sure enough there was 'prince charming'- a statue of a frog with a crown that said 'kiss me.' Ever since then it's been a running joke in my family. So when I saw the prince charming charm here on LB, I had to get one. :)
The frog charm from LB is wonderful on its own, however, when I saw the olive tagua nut sliver I immediately thought of a lily pad. I initially stopped there but something still looked not right. The fern pendant brought a 'reed-like' component I decided was perfect for my pendant design.
I have the pendent on a jump ring so I can change the necklace it is on, however, I wanted a 'special' necklace to put it on. I thought these glass beads with the CZ was a simple yet elegant necklace for the frog prince.
For some reason my camera was not focusing on the necklace as it hung, however, I wanted to include that photo so that you might get an idea of what the pendant looks like when worn.
