Wandering Wire
About this design:
When I made the frame for this bracelet I chose a smaller gauge than I normally use. Loved the pattern but it was flimsy. So much for that idea. After several weeks I picked it up again and wrapped all of the wire crossings. UGH! Didn't like it at all. Then I decided to see how the meandering wire that goes through the middle would look if I wrapped it along the whole length.
I was pleasantly surprised when it was finished. It looked better than I thought it would and out in the sun the wires used for wrapping give it a spectacular shimmer. Unfortunately photographing the shimmer was more difficult than I expected it to be.

Little Round Chick says:Nancy, it has taken me several years to learn how to wrap wire smoothly. My scrap container has many, many yards of wire wrapping that got all wonky and had to be redone. Gotta keep plugging along…..
