About this design:
I treated myself to the Vintaj Big Kick Machine...and I love it!!!! I have become a huge fan of Vintaj!

Also, can someone explain the Vintaj Big Kick Machine? I’ve seen it mentioned several times, am I missing out on something wonderful?

JustImagine - Val says:Thanks Mary. The Big Kick deco embosses metal blanks. Vintaj has several die designs that you “sandwich the blank in and then crank it through the Big Kick. You then use the vintaj reliefing block to bring out the shine. You can also use the patina’s to add a little color.

Lynn, you can get the machine through Vintaj if you are set up wholesale with them. Hobby Lobby stores carry it as well and I’m pretty sure my hubby bought mine on Amazon.

C Petruccy says:The vintaj machine is the same as the Sizzix Big Shot and also the Big Kick (these 2 are sold with the scrapbooking supplies) Michaels, AC Moore and Hobby Lobby probably all carry them and you can use a coupon. I believe Sizzix makes them all, they just design them for certain companies. I believe Stampin UP also has one but they are all the same machine and they are all made by the Sizzix company. Hope this helps anyone that has questions.

I wanted to give these a try and wanted to see if you tought yourself or if you used a tutorial of some sort. What type of the embossing plates/folders do you use?? I see there are a few out there. I would like to invest in some but not sure which ones would work the best, do you have the names of the ones that you use. I know since these are also used for card making and scrapbooking, there are probably some better suited than others. Any help would be appreciated. You can email me off board at crlacy0000@aol.com.
