About this design:

I had these beautiful green aventurine and green fire agate beads and they made me think of the beautiful leaves of spring and summer! So I tried to make a bracelet that was reminiscent of ferns, moss, and many other leaves and such. I so love green!

Green Aventurine, green fire agate, natural green 2mm leather, emerald nymo thread and a silver filigree button.

Beautiful!! Great colors. But how did you keep your thread from tangling?

Robin Gee, it takes some practice to keep it from tangling! The longer the thread, the slower I pull it through the beads, that way you can untangle as you pull. Pulling the thread slowly also keeps you from jerking a knot in it….I found this out the hard way. The more you do it..the more you get a feel for it!:)

Absolutely stunning! Nice to see something so lovely that doesn’t involve chain, jumprings, and metal clasps. I’m excited to get back to a stitch and string type project. Great job!

Adventurine has always seemed boring to me. That is up till now. Looks cool and fresh for a hot summer day.
