Out In The Fields

About this design:

Out In The Fields-Author Unknown
The little cares that fretted me,
I lost them yesterday
Among the fields above the sea,
Among the winds that play,
Among the lowing of the herds,
The rustling of the trees,
Among the singing of the birds,
The humming of the bees.

The foolish fears of what might pass,
I cast them all away
Among the clover-scented grass,
Among the new-mown hay,
Among the hushing of the corn,
Where drowsy poppies nod,
Where ill thoughts die and good are born-
Out in the fields of God.

I have been in the country all my life, except for a few years in the city!:) I have found that I am a country mouse...and that being said, there is something about walking through fields with wildflowers and seeing butterlies...walking through a garden growing, hearing the bees humming, seeing the dragonflies flitting and the smell of clover...that always brings me back to my senses and causes me to take a deep breath and sigh in wonder, awe and peace.
