Wind and Rain Earrings

About this design:

These earrings are inspired by wind and rain, both of which we are sure to have this hurricane season. The leaves represent the organic material blown around in a storm, and the remaining beads represent the rain. I patina'd the leaf charms, head pins, and chain, using the Vintaj patina kits. Had alot of fun mixing the colors and applying them!

Components:

Brass leaf pendants, brass chain, brass headpins, Vintaj patina kits, gunmetal earwires, and beads left over from the Sring Rain contest plus some teal button pearls.

Beautiful! Do the leaves come from LB?

  15. Elis Mom
    Elis Mom says:

Thank you, Val! I got the leaves from JoAnn Fabrics. They were connected to a bunch of cheap plastic beads, and I took them apart. There is a brand called Lalliberi that has similar leaves as well. Also available at JoAnn Fabrics.
