Odd Stone Out

About this design:

Here's a simple dangle,with stones you don't see often very often. I'm interested in rocks that have something "going on"..like color change,or sedimentation in them. The focal bead is Muscovite,which looks great in sunlight. I complimented them with some Sunstone heishi beads,and added a couple of Labradorites for contrast.

Components:

Muscovite Ovals,Sunstone Heishi beads,Labradorite rondelles,SP wire,and SS ear wires.

Just to let you know, sunstone is a feldspar (think labradorite) and muscovite is a mica–usually very thin sheets and flaky. In fact it’s used in some toothpaste to make it ‘sparkly’, makeup, and can be used for lampshades, dollhouse windows, and a long time ago was used for house windows. The shine and sparkle has to do with the cut, structure, etc.
