Ostentatiously Adorned
About this design:
I had this peacock porcelain bead and really wanted to do a wrap bracelet for it! This is what I came up with to honor the ostentatiously adorned peacock!lol
Components:
natural turquoise 1.5 mm leather, various czech glass beads in 3, 4, and 6mm, embroidery thread, blue nylon upholstery thread, copper s clasp, porcelain peacock bead, 24 gauge bronze wireAdditional Images:

it is a wrap bracelet up until that point..so once I got to the point that I needed to add the focal bead, I used the bronze wire. I cut 4 pieces of the bronze wire and ran it through the bead and then placed the bead on top of my leather and string. I then separated the wire two per side and pulled them apart….ran one set of bronze wire in between and under the leather/thread…then ran the other set on top and wire wrapped like crazy! 
I did it for both top and bottom of the bead. You can actually see in one of the pics the back of the bead and how the leather/thread run right behind it. Hope this helps if you want to try it!

puppychick labratbecky says:very , very cool!! I have added ribbons along side of the leather. I like the organic textures of this bracelet and then adding the glass beads gives it the perfect sparkle.

Also wished I could have used that little peacock clasp that green girl makes but you know what they say about hindsight! Sheesh!
