Snips and Snails

About this design:

This necklace was made of odd and ends of a little bit of everything and is a very feminine necklace. It can be worn long or doubled over and worn short with both strands showing.

It's made of black suede, black waxed cotton cord, labradorites in all shapes and sizes, garnets, deep gray pearls, white coin and freshwater pearls, lampworked beads, a PMC rolled 'straw' along the cord, oval onyx that was bezel set in sterling and a few headpins that were wrapped along the suede or cord ... who said they had to be used for their original purpose?! Snips and Snails and Puppy-dog Tails, that's what little girls are made of!

Hi Lynn, thanks … yes, I used headpins to add the pearls and gemstones. The connectors between suede pieces were 24 or 26 gauge wire. BTW, did you see your PMC rolled tube/straw?! SLS
